Common Questions (FAQ)
- Q: Do I need an account to use the app?
- A: No. IntentLock does not require account creation or login.
- Q: What's included on the free plan?
- A: Two apps on a daily budget, the lock screen, and the weekly card. Monthly or Lifetime unlocks additional app slots.
- Q: How do I restore purchases?
- A: Open the app and use the “Restore Purchases” option on the paywall screen.
- Q: Why does the app ask for Screen Time access?
- A: IntentLock needs Screen Time access to know when an app you chose has been open for as long as you allowed, and to show the lock screen when that happens. The app cannot work without it. You can grant or revoke it in Settings → Screen Time.
- Q: What does “drift” mean?
- A: Drift is time taken from the lock screen after a daily budget is already spent — the extra minutes you chose on purpose. It is shown separately from time spent within budget.
- Q: Does IntentLock see which apps I use?
- A: No. iOS gives IntentLock opaque tokens for the apps you choose, not names — see our Privacy Policy for details.
- Q: How do I report a bug?
- A: Email [email protected] and include your device model and iOS version.
